There is a nook in my dining room, at this current moment, it has the essence that a hoarder my be present in our home. In actuality, we do, ME!
I am in LOVE with Pepsi throwback. Why in the world would anyone want to drink high fructose corn syrup? (However, I do prefer 'regular' coke, when I have a glass with my friend Jack, it just tastes better.) Reasons for the hoarding; it is only offered for a limited time, there is only one chain of stores that carries it, CC thinks he can drink as much as he wants, and it is healthier than soda with high fructose corn syrup.
This is what the Mayo Clinic has to say about it:
High-fructose corn syrup is a common sweetener and preservative. High-fructose corn syrup is made by changing the sugar (glucose) in cornstarch to fructose — another form of sugar. The end product is a combination of fructose and glucose. Because it extends the shelf life of processed foods and is cheaper than sugar, high-fructose corn syrup has become a popular ingredient in many sodas, fruit-flavored drinks and other processed foods.
They still feel that in moderation it is ok to consume. But if there is any concerns about it at all, why are we feeding it to our family, because it is cheaper? Friends, if you have little ones please be conscious of how much they are consuming.

Obsessed
The backyard has been the focus of our summer projects. (Thus, the reason for so many posts)...Although, most of my projects take care of themselves (...other than the one....) so really, I just sit back and enjoy the scenery--My husband hard at work, while I read a book or work on homework.
The apricot tree is finally in full bloom! If you are in UT and looking for some home grown apricots, email me and you can have as many as you can pick! (Or, if I am going to see you, I will bring you a bag.)
Loves and Hugs--Life is good.

Yard Updates
Yes, CC has been busy working on the patio! The patio table and fireplace are very comfortable in their new home. Only one more project to finish this summer...dun-dun-dah...the dreaded mosaic table. (What was I thinking?) It will be a miracle to see the day...
The corp 2010! Home grown peas, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers...you name it they are growing!
Tonight Cory will be shimming up the tree to take care of the broken branch...It is a sad day when your beautiful mature trees start showing their age. I hope my tree holds up to this traumatic trim.
Loves and hugs-Tonight we will be mourning the loss of a limb.

Rock Climber
Over the 4th of July my oldest sister and her kids were in Wyoming. Her kids are growing up so fast.
Sean D. is Janet's youngest, he and Cory got along famously! As you know Cory LOVES rock climbing, when Sean D. said he would go with Cory I new they were two peas in a pod (not to be confused with the peas on my vine). Sean D. was a natural, just like Cory.
More pics to come...only 400 to sort through!
Loves and Hugs!-I heart ALL my nieces and nephews. (All 11 of them!)

Again...Slacking
Two weeks ago I was so efficient on updating the blog. This week on the the other hand, I was busy with homework and work. I have TONS of pictures to download. Cory spent the last four days laying a new patio in our backyard. Tomorrow, it will be completed! The garden is thriving, fresh peas from the vine! I am in heaven.
Loves and Hugs-Busy weeks-make it so my blog is lacking!
Until next time.

Heels
As many of you know...for the last three years I work a job where I stand, walk, carry, drag, supplies everywhere I go. Well today...I decided so much for sensible shoe Erin. Let's get those cute red and white heels out of the closet...so I did!
They were awesome and made my tat look cute too!
Loves and hugs--I still enjoy a comfy shoe...but...sometimes heels are necessary!
