Fitting In?

Hmmm...in the past few days, (actually, my entire life) I realized that I do not fit in. My only TRUE confidant is my CC, well, and Jesus! Do not get me wrong, I would NEVER EVER change who I am but it is very apparent (the older I get) that I just do not fit in. I have always dressed a little different, I always sing to a different beat (typically, off key), I really do not like to conform, and I am a little (or very--depending who you ask) opinionated.  

It's my blog and "I'll cry if I want too." (And yet, here's another example, you put in 1950s music and I am completely in heaven.  In fact, my version of heaven is a 1950s sock-hop. Wonderful, right?) Thanks for reading/listening.

Quality Time

My Mom and I are going on a trip together in April!  This is a major move for her, I am so proud.  We are leaving the country, she had to get a passport, and she is trusting me to get her there!

Inconsistent

Indeed, I have been inconsistent lately on blogging. I have good reason. CC, Chica, and I went to Las Vegas and St. George for the Parade of Homes this weekend. The weather was AWESOME (compared to Ogden, UT) and the company was great.


Now that I have experienced 2011 homes, I am ready for a remodel. I suppose there is a small amount of trouble being a designer's wife.

Smut!

Friday night with a 30-something couple is wild...we went to Shopko to hangout tonight.  As we were checking out with CC's 1940 cartoon movie (aka comic) I noticed a tabloid and it was about getting "real" with Jennifer Anniston.  Ummm...why do we care if she has a baby, why she can't keep a man, and what she eats for dinner? Why????  I am not kidding.  Why??? Nobody gets 'real' with me, the world doesn't care if I have cocktails with my girlfriends (love it), or what type of toilet paper we use (Angel Soft), or what I had for dinner (TGIFridays).
